Pull request review

A second reviewer that writes nothing back

Marlow reads a pull request against your repository's own rules and posts its verdict as one comment. It never pushes a commit.

Comment on the pull request/marlow review

What it does
  • Reads the diff alongside your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md and LEARNINGS.md, so the change is held to your conventions rather than generic ones.

  • Posts one comment: no blocking concerns, or changes requested, with the reasons.

  • Runs your own security scanner over the branch if the project has one, and separates findings in files the change touched from the rest.

  • Costs a quarter of a run.

What it never does
  • Pushes a commit, opens a branch or merges. It reviews from a throwaway clone.

  • Takes a request from someone without write access. On a public repository, a stranger's comment starts nothing.

  • Reviews a pull request nobody asked about, unless you turn on reviewing every pull request as it opens. Drafts and bot authors are skipped even then.

What it needs
  • A project with a GitHub repository connected.

  • Your conventions written down, in CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md, if you want them enforced.

  • Optionally, a scanner command that writes a SARIF report.

Start with one boring ticket.

Connect a repository and send it something you have been putting off. Set the gate to “open a pull request and stop” — the worst case is a branch you close.
